I am currently a senior studying visual arts at the Bergen County Academies in Hackensack, NJ (ranked #5 in the US by Newsweek Magazine). I have studied the fine arts, digital photography, and graphic communications with the hopes of pursuing a future path in the design industry. During my time at BCA, I have designed for various clubs and organizations, as well as heading, designing, and constructing multiple school projects and events. My artwork has been featured in several exhibits, and has won numerous awards including a recent Honorable Mention and Gold Key Scholastic Art and Writing Award. I currently intern at Alfalfa Studio in New York City.
Aside from my studies, I am a D rated competitive and high school varsity sabre fencer. On the national competitive level, I represent the Bergen Fencing Club in Ho-ho-kus, NJ. I finished 7th at the women's sabre Division III event at the 2016 Summer National Championships this past summer in Dallas, Texas. On the high school level I represent the Bergen Tech Knights as the captain of the #4 girls' sabre squad as well as the #3 girls' overall team in the state. This past 2015-2016 season, I helped my team win the County Championship and State Sectional titles. I have been fencing for 3 years, and I compete around the country all year round.
